i went to the wind rivers a few years ago and LOVED it. can't say enough good things about that beautiful place!!!
Tyson has done the wind rivers and talks about it all of the time. I wish that I could go with you, but I am certain that I would never be able to keep up.
just come to colorado. we can climb (literally) long's peak. it's no 3-7 dayer but we can still have fun. 14,000+ feet. sound tempting?
The Wind River also has awesome climbing, so you could put your mad climbing skills to work.
Before I even read the whole post, I thought "wind rivers." Then I got goose-bumps, saluted the flag, and wept.
Seriously though. Wind Rivers. Seems everyone else agrees as well. Not only can you take doggies, but they're the prettiest mountains I've been to in the states.
Go!
(oh, but take bug spray. The strong stuff)
Wind Rivers it is!
and Ashley - you need to come and show me YOUR mad climbing skills. Zach and I have been up Little Cottonwood a bit lately and it kicks my trash. I need some inspiration
I've heard good things about the Wind Rivers, but have never been. I have also heard about the bugs there. In fact, I am pretty sure that I heard/saw this from Andrew or his previous blog that he deleted.
ummmm yes, you know i'm in. i've wanted to go to the wind rivers forever - lets make it happen!
