Charlie Eco Friendly

Highschool friend Heather Lang moved to NYC to be a model. It worked and she's been living the high life out here ever since. Met up with her for lunch the other day and she told me about this business that her and a friend of hers are working on making all organic t's. They are buying organic cotton tees and hand dyeing them with tree bark from all over the world. Yep, you heard me right. They haven't set up their online shop yet, but you should watch out for them because they're super cute and comfy looking. Check em out at their site.

High Line Park

Over the past few years there has been a construction project underway to revamp an old above ground train track that runs from Meat Packing up to Chelsea. I have wanted to go there ever since I heard it was done and today I finally did. Perfect place to spend one of the first sunny above 45 degrees days here in New York.

This is the railroad when it was in use way back when.

In some places it went right through buildings.

This is what the trail looked like when I lived in NYC two years ago.

This is how it looks now.

Well, more like this because there were tons of people out today.

See more pictures and read about the High Line Park here.

Podcasts

I'm not afraid to admit it, I'm a major podcast junkie. Ever since Christy explained to me what they were I have been hooked. I'm trying to stock up on them for traveling so please oh please tell me you're favorites. I'm already an avid listener of:

What are your favorites? I need to mix it up.

More Lulu

What is it about a baby that is so relaxing? Maybe only sleepy babies that you get to hold when they're happy is what makes them so relaxing for me, but I really like being around them. Chelsea brought it up today, but babies really force you to slow down. You can't do a million things at once when you have a baby and you just have to accept that when you're taking care of them.
Hung out with Chels, Adam, Frida and Lulu today. Spent a slow Sunday afternoon walking around the woods behind their house, holding the babe, and watching (and eating) Chelsea's cooking. It always feels like a vacation when I hang out with them and even more so when I get to hang out with this peanut.

This rig is surprisingly comfy - kind of made me feel pregnant. This is as close as I'll be to that for the next decade I'm sure.
